Our Story
The Mabrey family’s involvement in banking began in 1906 when G.W. Mabrey joined the Board at Citizens National Bank in Okmulgee. Nearly 120 years and four generations later the Mabrey family has grown what is now known as Mabrey Bank into one of the oldest and most successful family-owned banks in the state of Oklahoma. With 15 locations spanning from Tulsa to Oklahoma City and across Eastern Oklahoma, Mabrey is now widely known as one of the best banks in Oklahoma for its high-quality financial offerings and personalized, friendly service.

We are proud to be an annual supporter of the Friends of the Mansion's Boots, Bandanas and BBQ fundraiser, and last night our Oklahoma City team and friends enjoyed an evening at the beautiful Governor's Mansion. This piece of Oklahoma history has been incredibly restored and preserved as a testament to the strength of our state and its people.

Mabrey Bank was honored at the Indian Capital Technology Center's Business and Industry Awards last night, hosted by Port Muskogee. Our Muskogee team was on hand to receive a Century Club award for 100 years in business. David White, our Muskogee Market President, serves on the Port Muskogee Board and has been a major advocate and ambassador for Muskogee throughout his career.
We are incredibly appreciative of the recognition of our Centennial and proud to have both Port Muskogee and the ICTC helping grow business and industry in our Muskogee community.

100 Ways We Care: Bixby Outreach Center
This past weekend, we had the pleasure of sponsoring BOC's The Shared Table fundraiser. Members of our Marketing and HR teams had a fantastic night celebrating the recent growth and success of the BOC, while also learning what's on the horizon.
The work that the BOC does in Bixby to provide is crucial to help families in need a helping hand. We appreciate the effort of Missy and the rest of the BOC staff to better our community.

For the last 15 years, we have been a proud supporter of the Glenpool Chamber of Commerce and its annual BlackGold Days Festival. This year was no different as we were thrilled to serve as a KidZone sponsor at the festival last weekend. Kids of all ages had a blast, getting to ride ATVs and a little train, play in bounce houses, explore the petting zoo and much more.

As we continue to honor our centennial throughout 2024, we release the second of three feature stories that narrate the history of Mabrey Bank and the Mabrey family through the words and stories of the family members.
In this feature, we highlight the Mabrey family's deep-rooted relationship with East Central Oklahoma and specifically the connection that Bruce and Mark Mabrey have with its people, land and individual communities. It's a bond that can only be formed through decades and generations of service, trust and loyalty.

We are so excited that one of our own, Rusty Milroy, was honored this week by the Oklahoma Main Street Center as its Legacy Award recipient this year!
A man known as "Mr. Main Street," Rusty was a founding Board Member of the Oklahoma Main Street Program in 1986 and has served in the organization in various capacities ever since. He has been President of the Board several times (most recently in 2015) and has been a judge for Okmulgee's Chili Festival since it began. In addition, Rusty serves on the Boards at Oklahoma Main Street Foundation, Okmulgee Main Street, Preservation Oklahoma, Inc. and the Okmulgee Education Foundation.
Rusty has been a valuable member of the Mabrey Bank team for 38 years as a Commercial Lending Officer and remains an integral part of our Mabrey family.
Congrats on this incredible and well-deserved honor, Rusty!

100 Ways We Care: The City Lights Foundation of Oklahoma
Last weekend, we were proud to serve as a sponsor for City Lights Foundation's Trivia Night at Cain's Ballroom, their annual fundraiser. While we didn't field a trivia squad this year, we were so excited to hear that CLF raised over $90,000, which will go directly towards ending homelessness in Tulsa.
This was third consecutive year sponsoring Trivia Night, and we are so excited to see City Lights' continued success across Tulsa.

This weekend we were proud to be a Sugarplum Sponsor at the Gumdrops and Lollipops Ball, the annual fundraiser for Anna's House. It was our second year supporting and definitely reaffirmed the fantastic work Anna's House is doing throughout Oklahoma City. In fact, the only thing sweeter than the candy at the event is seeing the people of the community come together to ensure each child has a roof over their head and a place to call home.

We had our monthly Horizons Club luncheon yesterday and were fortunate to be joined by Michael Weller of Weller Insurance. Big changes are coming to Medicare and Medicaid in 2025, and using his expertise, Michael was able to thoroughly and eloquently educate our Horizons members on all of the updates.
Our luncheons are not just a great place to connect, they are also fun and filled with valuable information and entertainment. We appreciate Michael for taking the time to visit with our Horizons Club and sharing his knowledge!

Since 2019, we have been a proud supporter of the Crime Prevention Network, Tulsa's only non-profit solely dedicated to public safety, and we were thrilled to serve as a sponsor for last weekend's Badges, Brews and BBQ Festival hosted by one of its programs, Tulsa Crime Stoppers. Day of Caring 2024 🙌
We had the pleasure of serving at LIFE Senior Services' Vandever House Apartments on Friday for Tulsa Area United Way's Day of Caring project this year. With more than a dozen volunteers, we were able to refresh the look inside and out with a new coat of paint, new furniture and plenty of smiles.
Another group of volunteers stayed at the bank to assemble Snack Packs for Iron Gate Tulsa to distribute through their Kid's Pantry. Iron Gate hands out more than 25,000 of these Snack Packs each year to children across our community.
The TAUW's Day of Caring is one of our favorite days of the year as we get to see members of our team come together and give back to our community!
